<p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Pauline Bond Currence, 83, passed away on February 22, 2021 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Eldon. &nbsp;Visitation will be held immediately preceding the service from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Eldon First Baptist Church.&nbsp; Burial will follow the funeral service at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Pauline was born as a triplet at Oby &amp; Nora Bond&rsquo;s home near Mt Herman, outside Olean, MO on March 15, 1937. &nbsp;One of the triplets (Ladine) did not survive infancy, so Pauline grew up alongside her twin sister, Lorene Bond Farris.&nbsp; Pauline attended school in Olean and graduated from Eldon High School in 1955. &nbsp;She was married to Dale Currence on June 5, 1955; they were married for over 62 years.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Pauline was a faithful wife, mother, and homemaker her entire adult life.&nbsp; For over 30 years she co-owned, along with Dale, Tri-County Tractor Sales on Highway 54 South in Eldon and served as book keeper during those years.&nbsp; She cherished her family, friends from the community and church, and connecting with fellow classmates.&nbsp; Pauline enjoyed cups of coffee in the morning (outside when possible), journaling, knitting, making quilts for her grandkids, and eating meals out with Dale. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Eldon, serving in numerous volunteer positions.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale, on January 27, 2018.&nbsp; She was also preceded in death by her parents, Oby and Nora Selix Bond, as well as her older brother, Marvin Bond, and her sisters: Helen Wright, Eula Mae Bedwell, Nancy Bond, and Ladine Bond.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Pauline is survived by her sister Lorene Bond Farris of Eldon and by her five children: Melody (Kent) Hannah of Eldon; Mary Jane (Tom) Correnti of St. Louis; Steve (Karie) Currence of Webb City, Paula (Jim) Misloski of Jefferson City; and Dan (Sherry) Currence of Eldon.&nbsp; She was also proud of and is survived by 14 grandchildren: Kory (Amie) Hannah; Ethan (Courtney) Hannah; Brian (Joanna) Correnti, Leanne (Matt) Correnti Gregston; Kasey, Cragin, &amp; Sally Currence; Perry, Ellen, &amp; Davis Misloski; Aaron (Abby) Currence, Samuel, Joel, &amp; Lily Currence; 4 step-grandchildren (Tracy Correnti Hipner, Tom Correnti, and Cade &amp; Sidney Englert); and 9 great-grandchildren.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greenmore Memorial Gardens in c/o Judy Beach (Treasurer) 2 Mt Carmel Rd, Eldon, MO&nbsp; 65026.&nbsp; The family of Pauline Currence wishes to thank the Eldon Nursing &amp; Rehab for their care for Pauline, particularly over the past 12 months working through COVID protocols.</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Pauline Bond Currence, 83, passed away on February 22, 2021 at Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon, Missouri.
