Beha<br /> <br /> Port Gibson - John &quot;Jack&quot; Beha, 72, was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.<br /> <br /> The family will greet friends from 1 - 3 p.m. on Saturday (February 27) at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Jack&#39;s funeral service will be private. A celebration of Jack&#39;s life will take place this summer.<br /> <br /> Please note, for visitation all NYS social distancing and face covering guidelines must be followed.<br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Sky Rovers Flying Club, 2269 McBurney Rd. Clifton Springs, NY 14432 or the Port Gibson Fire Department, 2939 Greig Street, Port Gibson, NY 14537 in memory of Jack.<br /> <br /> Jack was born the son of the late John and Dorothy (Wilbert) Beha on Saturday, February 28, 1948, in Rochester, NY. He graduated from Wayne Central High School and went on to attend college at Cornell University. Upon graduation, Jack worked at Agway in agricultural sales for many years. He then began working for SeedWay as a district manager, where he built not only a career, but made many lifelong friends. Jack took great pride in working with the farmers that he served, and supporting those he worked along side even up until his final days of life.<br /> <br /> Jack has been part of the Port Gibson Volunteer Fire Department for almost four decades, serving as treasurer, EMT and instructor; ensuring the success of numerous aspiring EMT&#39;s in our community. Among his favorite accomplishments at the fire department was being one half of the Jack and Dave show at the annual awards ceremony, which he co-hosted with his dear friend, Dave Borland. Jack was a proud member of the sky Rovers Model R/C Flying Club for many years, serving as treasurer and a flight instructor. He enjoyed time flying his model airplanes at the field, while socializing with his fellow members. Jack was a man of great faith and was an active member of St. Anne&#39;s Church in Palmyra, where he served as an usher.<br /> <br /> Jack was a proud husband, father and grandfather. His happiest moments were spent with his family. Port Gibson - John "Jack" Beha, 72, was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.

The family will greet friends from 1 - 3 p.m. on Saturday (February 27) at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St, Newark. Jack's funeral service will be private. A celebration of Jack's life will take place this summer.
