Tony (Anthony) James McGuey (Black Diamond) Obituary

It is with the deepest of heartache, that we announce the passing of our beloved Tony, on Monday February 22, 2021 at the Foothills Country Hospice. Tony is survived by his wife and soulmate of 31 years, Karen Walker of Black Diamond. His children Jody (Amy) McGuey, Jennifer (Danny) Hosie and Lisa (Tyler) Sand. His grandchildren Ella, Mason, Finley, Jamie and Thatcher. Tony also leaves behind his sister Beverly McGuey, brother David McGuey and his long-time friend Buff (Terry Rands) His sister in laws Marie, Valory, Kathy and their families. He was loved and will be missed by many. Tony was a hard-working millwright/electrician, he could build and fix machinery like nobody’s business! His passion was building, rebuilding, and riding Harley Davidsons. His final project was rebuilding his Little Red Express truck, and with the help of friends and family, they made this happen for him and it was finished beautifully. Although, his was passion was motorcycles, his greatest love was his family. He was a proud father and grandfather, and we were so proud of him. Thank you to Curtis and Pam O’Brien, Don Razander and Terry Rands for standing firm in our friendships through his journey. We love and appreciate you. If friends and family wish to do so, they may donate to the Foothills Country Hospice or the ALS Society, it would be appreciated. We are so grateful for the care that he received. A celebration of life for Tony will be held a later date. Arrangements in Care of Snodgrass Funeral Home Okotoks 403-938-3111.
