<p>Amanda Jeanne McGarry&nbsp;Taralla, age 31 of Canton, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. She was born in Canton on September 16, 1989 and was a 2007 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. Mandi later completed the Emergency Medical Technology program at Stark State College and obtained her EMT License. Utilizing her license, she worked part time as a Security Guard for the Stark County Library and then as a Nursing Assistant for Allay, a local Memory Care facility. Mandi married Damien Taralla on November 21, 2009 in New Philadelphia, Ohio. They resided there with their first born son, and later moved to Canton, where their twins were born. They were married for nine years.</p> <p>Mandi touched many lives in so many ways over the years and was always finding ways to help people and let them know that they mattered. She always seemed to make things better, no matter what the circumstance was. A very creative, artistic, and musical person, Mandi had many talents and hobbies throughout her life. She loved to decorate, sing, and teach; her family cherishes the countless photo albums, posters and gifts she created that hold precious memories of every family get-together, event, holiday and party, usually scheduled and organized by Mandi herself. Mandi was also a life long gymnast, competing at the National level as a girl and then teaching young gymnasts at the North Canton YMCA. Mandi stood up for those who were bullied and was supportive and loving to everyone whose lives she touched.</p> <p>As much as she enjoyed being active, she loved spending time with her family the most. Mandi was extremely family oriented, her three boys were her World and her newly-born daughter was her Angel. When her dad and brother suddenly passed away in 2012 and then 2014, Mandi was the strength that held the rest of her family together, caring for her mom&nbsp;in her own home, along with her boys, for several months. Mandi was the Rock, the Encouragement, and the Heart of her entire family. She hosted many parties&nbsp;and took her boys, niece, and nephew to many places and events. There were many overnighters where they all had fun and enjoyed family time.&nbsp;Mandi was preceded in death by her father Richard &ldquo;Dude&rdquo; McGarry, brother Joshua McGarry, and grandpa James McGarry. She is survived by her mother Debra McGarry; sons Christian Ray, Gabriel James, Lucas Joseph Taralla; and daughter Rosalyn &ldquo;Addison&rdquo; Jeanne McGarry. Also survived by grandparents Leon and Carolyn Allard and Betty McGarry; niece and nephew SunShine DayDream McGarry and Joshua Michael McGarry II; aunt and uncles Karen (Dan) Baker and Bill Allard; and cousins Kylie Garner and Dylan Allard and Landon and Mariah McGarry.</p> <p>Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home in Canton, Ohio on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A private memorial service will be held. Mandi will be buried in Warstler Cemetery beside her brother, Joshua.</p> <p>Memorial donations may be made, for the benefit of Mandi&rsquo;s four children&#39;s education, to the Amanda Jeanne McGarry Taralla Memorial Fund at Fifth Third Bank.
