Marion Anne Parker Obituary

    Marion Anne Parker peacefully passed away on February 20, 2021 in the comfort of her own surroundings.

    Marion is predeceased by her father, Lyle Parker, a sister Norma Parker, and a brother Gordon.  She leaves behind her children Dionne Michell (Cam) Burbank and their children, Morgan, Kylee, and Payton as well as her son Sean Askin. She leaves behind her mother Sylvia Parker to mourn her loss. Born into a large family she also leaves her brothers Leonard Parker (Susan) and Vern Parker and her sisters LaRee (Colin), Patricia (Lloyd) Seeley, Connie (Bruce) Orr, Teresa (David) Price, Deanne (Byron) Nalder and Linda (Darrel) Osmond as well as many nieces and nephews.

    Marion was born in Brooks, Alberta on 29 September 1953. She was raised in Rosemary, Alberta and later moved to Brooks in 1971 after which she made her home in Calgary for a short time and then resided in Lethbridge until the time of her passing.

    Marion loved and appreciated the beauty of nature. She also enjoyed crocheting and was able to make christening gowns for grandchildren. At the age of 27 Marion was in a devastating car accident in Medicine Hat  which left her with severe physical limitations which plagued her for her entire life.

    She will be laid to rest Thursday, February 23, 2021 following a family graveside service.
