Steven Duane Garrison

Steven Duane Garrison of Kenmore, formerly of Issaquah, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 in Kirkland, Washington. He was 62. Steven was born February 13, 1953 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Duane and Evelyn Garrison. He was raised in Issaquah and graduated from Redmond High School. Following high school Steven furthered his education at The University of Washington. Stevens working career spanned many years with Safeway, Talking Rain and 7-11 holding various management positions. In his leisure time Steven loved photography, surfing and fishing. He enjoyed Seattle sports teams, reading the daily news and outdoor activities including running marathons. Steven also enjoyed the arts and sang in an acapella choir. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a gentle soul who loved his children, nephews, family and pets. Survivors include his loving children, Duane, Teresa and Kevin; parents, Duane and Evelyn; siblings, Vicki, Karla and Kevin; one grandchild and a host of extended family members and friends. A funeral service will be held 11am, Friday, February 19, 2016 at Flintofts Issaquah Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fall City Cemetery. A sad time for all in the family. I loved Steve from the day he was born. A very neat kid who became a man we were proud to know. Life was good with him in it.
