Ethel Mae Jones was born April 11, 1955 to the late Polly and Thaddus Moore.

She entered eternal rest on February 16, 2021 at Wake Med in Raleigh, NC.

 

Ethel Mae was married to the late James Edward Jones.  She joined Union Chapel A.H.Z. Zion Church at an early age. Ethel worked at Excelsius Barber Shop for many years.

 

Ethel was preceded in death by her mother and father, three sisters, two grandchildren and her husband.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories; One daughter, Tomeka Woods of Raleigh, NC,

married to Pamela Woods of Raleigh, NC, One brother,  Thaddus Moore, Jr. of Kittrell, NC, Four stepchildren, Anita, Marie, Cynthia and Ronald all of Durham, NC, Two grandsons, Jarvis Trenten Moore of Oxford, NC and Isaiah Malik Bastic of Durham, NC.,

Two step-grand-daughters, GySgt. Shawanda S. Woods of the United States Marine Corps. and Kristin Gail Woods of Greensboro, NC,

One great-grandson, Jarvis Trenten Moore, Jr. (JJ) of Oxford, NC, Two step great-grandchildren, Arreon Ty’Shawn Brooks-Woods and Arriyah Nicole Brooks-Woods

both of Greensboro, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
