Willie Helen Campbell
Willie Helen Campbell, 62, of Benton Harbor, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. She was born on February 27, 1958 in Hughes (St. Francis County), Alabama to Charles James and Jessie Mae (Canard) Campbell. Helen graduated from Benton Harbor High School, class of 1976. She worked for many years at Lakeland Medical Center as well as several retail locations. She was a woman of deep faith. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing, kickboxing, karate and camping. In more recent years, Helen spent her available time watching her favorite television shows and listening to music. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Campbell and a sister, Angela Campbell. Helen is survived by her mother, Jessie Mae Campbell McGeHee of Benton Harbor; her brothers, Jerry Campbell of Richardson, Texas, Charles and Byzzle Campbell, both of Grand Rapids and Patrick Campbell of Muskegon; her sister, Shirley Cooper-Hudson of Marietta, Georgia. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
