Carol Sue Laswell

Funeral services for Carol Sue Lasswell, 77, of Gladewater will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Lasswell passed away Monday, February 8, 2021, in Longview. Carol was born November 3, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Blair Jackson and Olivia Bolinger. She worked as a caregiver in the home health industry. Carol enjoyed writing, arts, crafts, collecting dolls and cooking. She loved her children and as a single mother of four children took great pride in her family. She married Dennis Lasswell in 2007 and they spent 13 wonderful years together. Carol had a huge heart and people were drawn to her loving and caring personality. Carol will not soon be forgotten by all those she leaves behind. Carol is survived by her husband Dennis Lasswell; five children David Hoeschler, William Hoeschler, Linda Gregory, Robert Uttech and wife Kelli; Sherry Miller and husband Randy; twelve grandchildren Sharon Uttech, Madison Villarrial, Meredith Villarrial, Stormi Wilson, Stephanie Wilson, Tonya Sanders, Devinity Cox, Will Sanders, Lindsey Ruth, Brianna Cunningham, Stacey Loden, Carrie Gregory, Laura Hoeschler and Bill Hoeschler, Jr., as well as many other loving family and friends.
