<p>Thomas &quot;Tom&quot; Leroy Gregory of Lebanon, MO was born on Sunday, August 28, 1938 in Steelville, MO to Jesse Leroy Gregory and Lottie Irene Weber Gregory.&nbsp; He passed away at Mt. Vernon Veteran&#39;s Home in Mt. Vernon, MO at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 21 days.&nbsp; Tom was a veteran of the United States military, serving in both the Air Force and the Army.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Tom was raised on the family farm near Steelville, MO and graduated from Steelville High School.&nbsp; After his high school graduation, Tom enlisted in the United States Air Force and served a 4-year term.&nbsp; One of those years being in the foreign country of Morocco, Africa.&nbsp; After his term of service, Tom returned to Steelville.&nbsp;&nbsp;He married Anita Ruth Garrison on April 6, 1963 at Cherryville Baptist Church and to this union 7 children were born.&nbsp; All of their children were active in sports.&nbsp; Tom and Anita enjoyed attending all of their games and activities.&nbsp; During their marriage, he and Anita were very active in church and served the Lord faithfully through the years. They attended many years with their children at the Pilgrim&#39;s Rest Baptist Church in Ware, MO.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Tom worked for Carter Carburetor in St. Louis, MO for many years.&nbsp; When the plant closed, he went to work for Chrysler and worked there until he retired.&nbsp; During these years Tom joined the Missouri Army National Guard and retired from the US military having served an additional 16 years.&nbsp; During this time, he traveled to several states and various other countries including Germany, Japan and Honduras.&nbsp; When he retired, Tom and Anita moved to Fordland, MO.&nbsp; They bought a small farm and enjoyed country life raising cattle and gardening.&nbsp; They then were members of First Baptist Church of Strafford, MO.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Shortly after Anita passed away on May 10, 1999,&nbsp;he met Audrey Jane Barber who he later married&nbsp;on June 9, 2001 in Lebanon, MO.&nbsp; &nbsp; In Tom&#39;s retirement he enjoyed working with cattle on his farm, going to church and participating in church activities,&nbsp;reading his bible, going to church and going to gospel singings.&nbsp; He enjoyed gospel music and he especially liked to listen to his sister Alice Morton, her husband Rob,and his sister-in-law Gaylene.&nbsp; Most of all, Tom enjoyed spending time with his family.<br /> <br /> He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Lottie Gregory;&nbsp; first wife Anita Gregory; second wife Audrey Gregory; parents-in-law Edward and Fayetta Garrison and Ira &quot;Doc&quot; and Alma Mizer; brother Wayne and wife Jessie Gregory; brothers-in-law Eddie Garrison, Ronnie Garrison and Lilburn &quot;Bud&quot; Mizer and sister-in-law Mary &quot;Jackie&quot; and husband Don Howell.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> <br /> He is survived by his children Melissa Gregory of Springfield, MO, Edward Gregory of Lowell, AR, Keith (Kerry) Gregory of Willard, MO, Shawn Gregory of Hillsboro, MO, Grant (Darnell) Gregory of Hillsboro, MO, Matthew (Holly) Gregory of Branson, MO and Tyler (Christy) Gregory of Hillsboro, MO; step-daughter Linda (Brandon) Teubner of Lebanon, MO; siblings Lathan (Barbara) Gregory of Cherryville, MO, Alice (Robert) Morton of Strafford, MO and Paul (Gaylene) Gregory of Ozark, MO; brother-in-law Terry (Cletta) Garrison of Steelville, MO; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.<br /> <br /> Visitation is from 11:00 AM&nbsp;- 1:00 PM&nbsp;on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.&nbsp; Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM&nbsp;with Rev. Roger Morton officiating.&nbsp; The family kindly encourages masks to be worn while attending the services.&nbsp; The Funeral Service will be live-streamed on Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO&#39;s Facebook page beginning around 12:50 PM.&nbsp; Burial will be at Steelville Cemetery with full military honors.&nbsp; Memorials may be given to Mt. Thomas "Tom" Leroy Gregory of Lebanon, MO was born on Sunday, August 28, 1938 in Steelville, MO to Jesse Leroy Gregory and Lottie Irene Weber Gregory.  He passed away at Mt. Roger Morton officiating.  The family kindly encourages masks to be worn while attending the services.  The Funeral Service will be live-streamed on Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, MO's Facebook page beginning around 12:50 PM.  Burial will be at Steelville Cemetery with full military honors.  Memorials may be given to Mt.
