Jesse B. Taylor, age , was born on April 14, 1949 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Marie Saunders and Ernest Taylor. He departed this life on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Wilmington, Hospice in Wilmington, Delaware. Jesse was educated in WIlmington, Delaware and received his High School Diploma from Delaware Technical program. Jesse wa employed with the City of Wilmington for a period of time, until his illness. Jesse and Leola, (affectionately known as Butter), enjoyed dressing up and going out. He loved music, singing and entertaining family and friends. Jesse loves karate where he held a black belt. In addtion to his parents, Ernest W. Taylor and Marie Saunders Taylor, Jesse was preceded in death by his grandson, Markevis Clark, Sr. and his siblings, Ernest Taylor, Carol Taylor and Richard Taylor. Jesse leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Leola M. Taylor; children, Sharon Taylor (Charles), Stacie Talbert (Devin), Sonja Thomas (Moses), and Jaelyn Walker all of Wilmington, Delaware and Jesse Taylor (Shawn) of College Park, Georgia; 22 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lucretia Chandler, Ernest Jones and Murise Taylor, all of Wilmington, Delaware; two brothers, Allen Taylor of Harrisburg, Pennslyvania and Norhampton Taylor of Wilmington, Delaware and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Congo Legacy Center, 501 West 28th Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19802; with a viewing from 9 - 10:45 AM. His burial will be in All Saints Cemetery,6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware 19808.
