It is with great sadness we announce that on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 Mr. Andy Charchun of Vermilion, Alberta passed away at the Vermilion Health Care Centre at the age of 69 years. He is loved and remembered by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Charchun, of Vermilion; Daughters Leslie (Trent) Westman of Vermilion, Laura (Greg) Wood of Sudbury, Ontario; Grandchildren Karsyn and Kamryn Westman; Sisters Joyce Dicky of San Luis Obispo, California, Hazel (George) Dickey of Raleigh, North Carolina, Brother John (Joyce) Charchun of Edmonton; Mother-in-law Sadie Rochford of Vermilion as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Parents William and Mary Charchun, Brothers-in-law Jay Dicky and Henry Rudyk. A Family Service for Andy was held at Crossroads Lakeland Funeral home in Vermilion on Thursday, February 25, 2021. A Memorial for Andy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Myrnam Golf Course. The family invites you to join them and Celebrate the Life of Andy for an afternoon of golf and fellowship, supper to follow.
