Larry Kenneth Geralds Obituary

Larry Kenneth Geralds, age 74, of Gamaliel, Kentucky passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee surrounded by his family. He was born on January 24, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Olene and the late Charlie Geralds. He graduated from Gamaliel High School in 1966. On April 15, 1972, he married June Pierce Geralds. Larry worked for Stitches, Kentucky Apparel, and Walmart before he retired. He was a member of Gamaliel Baptist Church and a former member of the Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department. He also loved to fish with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, June Pierce Geralds; his mother, Olene Anderson Geralds; his children, Angie Geralds and Donny Geralds; three sisters, Nancy Fox, Judi Ford and Mary Ford, two brothers, Stevie Geralds and wife Carol Geralds, and Roger Geralds and wife Joanna Geralds; many loving nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and many friends also survive.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Tim Ford and Kenneth Ford; one sister-in-law, Deborah Geralds; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbert and Ruth Pierce and Buddy.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 22, 2021, at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel with burial in the Gamaliel Cemetery. Bro. Danny Pace will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the time for the service at 2:00 PM. 
Pallbearers are Jeff Ford, Steven Turner, Charlie Fox, Jason Geralds, Jeremy Hurd, Danny Hurd, Jon Tucker, and Tristan Tucker.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family for the Gamaliel Fire Department, and these may be made at the funeral home.
