<p style="text-align: justify;">March 8, 1962 &ndash; February 18, 2021</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">It is with great sadness that the Family of Blair Spring Chief announces his sudden passing on February 18th, 2021. Blair will be missed by his loving Children, Daniel Spring Chief, Joseph (Zack) Spring Chief, Kyle Spring Chief, and Nicole Button. Blair was a single father that raised his 3 boys to the best of his ability. Blair was able to, later in life, meet his youngest daughter and he immediately shared a special bond with her. Blair is survived by his brother Darren Spring Chief, his Sister Mia Spring Chief, his Aunties Rose Bull Bear and Sandra Spring Chief, and his dear grandchildren: Lilly, Kayla, and Matthew Spring Chief, Elayna Calf Robe, and Jayce Spring Chief. Blair was Predeceased by His grandparents Mark &amp; Louise Spring Chief, his Mother Gladys Spring Chief, His brother Darryl Spring Chief, his son Mark Earl Spring Chief, and his aunts, Marilyn Bear Chief, Mary Louise Brass, Louise Young, Josephine Weasel Head, and his uncle John Spring Chief. Blair enjoyed many things in life such as hunting, fishing, reading books, watching television, watching movies, listening to the music of various generations and genres, as well as meditation, learning, and teaching. As a single father, Blair wasted no time in trying to do his best for his children; he made a lot of sacrifices and he learned not only through experience but from those that were willing to teach. Furthermore, Blair studied at Medicine Hat college for upgrading and from there he decided to study information technology. He was considered an IT Guru and was a perfectionist in all that he delved into. People believed that Blair was a natural at everything he had done. However, they did not have the privilege of seeing how obsessed he was with learning what he wanted to perfect. His office at administration was where many went to get advice or to have someone simply listen&mdash;his vast knowledge, emotional lectures, and inspiring philosophies will be missed by many. Blair had a huge heart and had the charm and charisma that people looked up to and wanted to follow.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday 26, 2021 at Holy Trinity church in Crowfoot, Siksika. Graveside services to follow at Crowfoot Cemetery, Father Long Officiating.</p>
