Jon W. Taylor, 73, of Hartford, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Hartford Hospital.  Jon was born in Waterbury, on April 3, 1940 and was the son of the late Guy and Evelyn (Colt) Taylor.  He lived most of his life in Waterbury, and was currently living in Hartford.  Jon enjoyed collecting t-shirts, mugs, knives and liked talking on C.B. radio.  Jon is survived by several cousins, including Letitia Frey and Jeff Tedesco, both of Bristol.  Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family.  There are no calling hours and the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., is in care of the arrangements.  Memorial donations may be made to the Waterbury Association for Retarded Citizens, 1929 East Main St., Waterbury, CT 06705 or to the Epilepsy Foundation of America, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD 20785-2353.    Please visit Jon’s memorial website at www.FUNKFUNERALHOME.com
