<p>United States&nbsp;Marine Corps&nbsp;and Army National Guard&nbsp;Veteran,&nbsp;Hampton Perkins,&nbsp;of Brockton, Massachusetts,&nbsp;passed,&nbsp;peacefully,&nbsp;on February 10, 2021.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hampton&nbsp;was the&nbsp;beloved husband to Harriet Perkins,&nbsp;with whom he shared 50&nbsp;glorious&nbsp;years of marriage and&nbsp;raised their beautiful family.&nbsp;</p> <p>He&nbsp;leaves&nbsp;(also)&nbsp;his children,&nbsp;Lennine&nbsp;(Earl&nbsp;Clagon), Johnna (Damian Pinner) Letitia and Julia Perkins,&nbsp;ten&nbsp;grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, brother,&nbsp;Boyd Perkins,&nbsp;sister,&nbsp;Shirley Barnes,&nbsp;as well as a&nbsp;host of&nbsp;nieces, nephews&nbsp;and extended family and&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> He is predeceased by his parents,&nbsp;Junius&nbsp;and&nbsp;Avie&nbsp;Perkins, brother,&nbsp;Nathaniel Perkins&nbsp;and&nbsp;granddaughter,&nbsp;Karneetha&nbsp;Sanders.</p> <p>Hampton was full of&nbsp;life, a&nbsp;thoughtful&nbsp;and caring&nbsp;man,&nbsp;who&nbsp;cherished every moment with his family, was always happy to lend a helping hand,&nbsp;and&nbsp;found joy in every corner.&nbsp;He left his mark on&nbsp;each and every person,&nbsp;who was fortunate enough to cross his&nbsp;path&nbsp;and&nbsp;will be deeply missed,&nbsp;by all those who knew and loved him.</p> <p>To leave condolences for the family, visit www.georgelopesfuneralhome.com</p> <p>Arrangements entrusted to George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.</p>

Obituary

United States Marine Corps and Army National Guard Veteran, Hampton Perkins, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed, peacefully, on February 10, 2021. 

Hampton was the beloved husband to Harriet Perkins, with whom he shared 50 glorious years of marriage and raised their beautiful family. 

He leaves (also) his children, Lennine (Earl Clagon), Johnna (Damian Pinner) Letitia and Julia Perkins, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, brother, Boyd Perkins, sister, Shirley Barnes, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Junius and Avie Perkins, brother, Nathaniel Perkins and granddaughter, Karneetha Sanders.

Hampton was full of life, a thoughtful and caring man, who cherished every moment with his family, was always happy to lend a helping hand, and found joy in every corner. He left his mark on each and every person, who was fortunate enough to cross his path and will be deeply missed, by all those who knew and loved him.
