Linden Lee Hepler

Linden Lee Hepler, 86, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021, at his home. Linden was born in Danville, Illinois on September 6, 1934, to the late Gordon and Ruth (Cooper) Hepler. He worked for many years in Educational Sales and at Oak Hill Pharmacy after his retirement. He was a talented gospel singer and enjoyed singing in numerous groups and as a solo artist. Linden loved animals, especially his pet dogs. Linden is survived by his wife of 24 years, Karole "Diann" (Trusty) VanMeter Hepler of Evansville, IN; daughters, Kathy Statler (Dave) and Lori Hepler of Indianapolis, IN; step-children, Tim VanMeter of Delaware, OH, Denise Summerville (Chuck) of Evansville, IN, and Jeff VanMeter (Lynette) of Wheaton, IL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linden was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Bobbie Vorsheim. No services will be held at Browning Funeral Home.
