<p>Shamokin - Arthur T&nbsp; Stametz ,90, of 260 Mountain Road, passed away February&nbsp; 12, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.</p> <p>Born in Shamokin on Novemver 13,1930 he was the son of the late Arthur W. and Helen (Watral) Stametz. He graduated from Ralpho Township High School in 1948 where he was an active member of the soccer team and high school band. On November 4,1950 he married Margery Francis (Mertz) who preceded him in death. He was the owner of Danville Sales and Service international Harvester Truck Dealer in Danville before retirement.</p> <p>Arthur was a member of The Shamokin Our Band as a trumpet player for many years and also served as a Ralpho Township Supervisor. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and deep sea fishing. Working in the outdoors with his son gave him great pleasure. He also made a great apple pie.</p> <p>Arthur is survived by his son, Gregory Stametz and his wife, Christine; two grandchildren, Rebecca Stametz&nbsp; and Molly Breskiewicz and her husband, Michael; two great grandchildren, Rose Breskiewicz and Michael Breskiewicz IV. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>FUNERAL NOTICE</p> <p>Arthur T.
