<p>Steven Lowell Fenster of Lincoln passed away suddenly in his home on February 12, 2021.</p> <p>Steve earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Steve was united in marriage with Nyla Jean Gegenbach on October 17, 1987, in North Platte, while the two of them were employed and living in Lincoln, where they happily shared a home.</p> <p>Steve was a longtime member of the Frontier Lincoln Harley Owners Group and enjoyed riding his motorcycle all across Nebraska and the United States. Steve loved the open road, and the freedom it provided for him. On these many journeys, Steve made a wealth of friends with his quick wit and warm humor. Steve stayed close to his family members and friends spread across the country.</p> <p>Steve is survived by his father Lowell (Willa), his mother-in-law Delores Gengenbach, his brother Bob (Stephanie), his stepsister Dana Howell, his aunt Shirley Colson, and his nephews Hayden and Marshal. He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn, his wife Nyla, and his grandparents Emma and Walter Fenster and Glenn and Dorothy Harp.</p> <p>A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Lincoln. Interment will be in the spring at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, NE.</p>

So sorry to here of Steve's passing we played baseball together along time ago and his Dad (lowell) was our coach rest in peace my friend

The Harbor Freight team will greatly miss Steve. He was a great man that was respected for his approachability, humor, and how he cared for his team. Our condolences and prayers are with you.
