Glen Frederick Gygax
<p>Of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021 at the age of 78. Glen was born in Waukesha, WI on January 13, 1943 to the late Fred and Jane (Hughes) Gygax. He is survived by children Scott Gygax (Janine Zuiches) of Appleton, WI and Cynthia (Scott) Powers also of Appleton, WI. Also survived by grandchildren Connor and Kaitlyn Powers, a sister Sally (Doug) Soderberg and other relatives and friends. Glen was preceded in death by his life partner David R Paradise.</p> <p>Glen grew up on the family farm in Waukesha. He graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1961 and University of Wisconsin , Madison in 1966 with a B.B.A. degree. He became a buyer at Gimbels-Milwaukee, then wholesale buyer at M.W. Kasch Co-Mequon. After that he worked in Real Estate at what eventually became Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage-Shorewood until his retirement. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years. Glen was a member of Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist- Milwaukee.</p> <p>Glen retired to Naples, FL: arriving November 1, 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed his home, wonderful friends and an absolutely fabulous life in Naples and many travels domestic and international. He always appreciated how blessed he was for that.</p> <p>Visitation will be at Northshore Funeral Services on Tuesday, February 23rd from 4pm-7pm at 3601 N Oakland Ave. Shorewood, WI 53211. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 11:00am at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist at 812 N. Jackson Street. Milwaukee, WI. Internment will be at Forest Home Cemetery in the spring. Memorials appreciated to Open Door Café (Noon hot meal program at Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 831 N Van Buren Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202) or Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>January 13, 1943 - February 1, 202101/13/194302/01/2021
