Nancy Bellmeyer Everett

<p>Nancy (Bellmeyer) Everett, 84, of Lewisburg, died Friday, February 12, 2021 at Buffalo Valley Assisted Living.</p> <p>She was born July 16, 1936 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Grove) Bellmeyer.&nbsp; On May 9, 1992 she married Rev. Walter H. Everett, who preceded her in death January 31, 2020. Together they celebrated 27 years of marriage.</p> <p>Nancy graduated high school in Dover, Delaware.&nbsp; She earned her undergrad from Bucknell University and Masters from Fairfield University in Connecticut.&nbsp; Nancy worked as a professional counselor in various Connecticut prison systems, and later after moving back to Pennsylvania, worked as a victim-offender mediator in the Pennsylvania prisons system.</p> <p>She was of the Protestant faith.</p> <p>She enjoyed painting and gardening in her free time.</p> <p>Surviving are four children, Michael Nogan and his wife, Susan, of Maryland, Mary Jo Shields and her husband, Michael, of South Carolina, and Wayne Everett and Janna Marazita and her husband, Daniel, all of Connecticut; and eight grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica, Garrett, Ann Caroline, Shea, Daniel Jr, Casey and Sean.</p> <p>In addition to Walter and her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Nogan; and her son, David Nogan.</p> <p>Services will be held at a later date.</p> <p>The family suggests contributions in Nancy&rsquo;s memory be made to the Pennsylvania Prison Society, 230 South Broad St., Suite 605, Philadelphia, PA 19102 or online at www.prisonsociety.org</p> <p>The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.</p>
