Laura M. (Diemer) Lancaster, 96, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021, at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital. Daughter of the late Robert and May (Wippler) Diemer, she was born on January 16, 1925 in Seattle, WA. Over the last few years, Laura resided at Country Meadows Retirement Community, Mechanicsburg. Surviving Laura are her children, Theresa Dell’Orefice of Cheney, PA, Diane Sechrist (Frank) of New Cumberland, PA, Lorraine Klein (Chris) of Bradenton Beach, FL, James Lancaster II (Joann) of Abington, PA, and Charles Lancaster of Gardenville, PA; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lancaster, one brother, and one sister. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In accordance with Laura’s wishes, her body was donated to Hershey Medical Center for research and education purposes.
