Carolyn LaMondie, 65, danced her way into the arms of Jesus on February 12, 2021. At her request, no services will be held at this time. Carolyn lived life large and in the same fashion, her family and friends will hold a magnificent celebration of who she was on June 26, 2021. Carolyn loved life, her family, and her Jesus! She is known for being involved in many ministries, churches, and services around the area. She had a passion for all to know the love of her Lord. She desired nothing more than all of her family to love Jesus as she did. Carolyn was also a ferocious prayer warrior. She also had a burning passion for hurting people, especially for women. She spoke into so many lives in her short time here on this earth, but that impact was profound. She loved all people and you knew that in the grander of her hugs and smiles. Carolyn loved riding motorcycles with her husband and their ministry team. This was another avenue of ministry that she loved to pour her heart and soul into. Carolyn was a straight shooter who liked to “keep it real” as she would say. Although she would tell you her honest opinion, she would follow it with all of the love and grace of Jesus. She accepted so many as her own children and cared for people all her life. Her giving and loving spirit will be remembered for many! Carolyn is predeceased by both her father and mother, Harvey and Phyllis Lawrence of Brandon, as well as her daughter Sonya LaMondie Wagner. Carolyn is survived by her husband Douglas Lamondie of Constable. She is also survived by her five children, Paula (Donald) Shatlaw of Westville, Brian LaMondie of Malone, Christopher Stowe of Lake Placid, Christa (Arthur) Stevenson of Dickinson, and Tyler (Patricia) LaMondie of Westville. Carolyn is also survived by a large tribe of grandchildren to include Kurtis Conto, Kayla Bouvia, Karly Stacy, Jennifer Shatlaw, Donald Doyal, Elijah Dale, Jacob and Ryan LaMondie, Sofiya Hart, Kurstin and Christian Stowe, Olivia, Rachael, Hazel, Oliver and Cecilia Stevenson, and Sonya LaMondie. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and various other relatives that she poured her life into. Carolyn is also survived by three siblings. Steven (Nan) Warner of Syracuse, Michael (Margo) Lawrence of Brandon, Alice Barney of Malone, and Patrick Lawrence of North Bangor. Carolyn was an avid journaler and through these journals it is very apparent that she had deep feelings for a very specific group of ladies that she would have considered some of her dearest friends and even sisters. They include Shirly Steele, Marina Bolster, Jean Mainville, Trina Lewis, and Bonnie Champaign.
