Scott Clifford Mangum passed away at home from cardiovascular failure on February 8, 2021. Scott was born in Olney, Maryland, on October 29, 1976. He was the fourth child and son of Susan and Clifford Mangum. Family and friends will remember Scott for his kindness and deep love of animals and nature. He touched the life of every person he met and brought light, joy, and much love to all. He is survived by his parents, his loving brothers Bob (wife Della), Jim (wife Amy), and Chris (wife Sanam) and beloved niece Bella, an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends from Shady Grove Village. With heartfelt gratitude, the family thanks all of those who cared for, loved, and counseled Scott throughout the years. As an expression of sympathy, and to continue Scott’s lifelong commitment to caring for animals, memorial contributions may be sent to The National Wildlife Federation. The family will honor Scott’s wishes for cremation and plans to host a celebration of life for him later this year.
