Robert Stanley Hill, 56, devoted husband and father, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, at home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service at 1 pm. Social distancing guidelines will be observed and face coverings are required. *The memoriall service will be streamed live via our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cfh.madison Robert was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 22, 1964, to the late Samuel Hayes Hill and Frances Loretta Hill. He was the kind of guy who never met a stranger. Robert was a prankster who loved a good joke. He tinkered with electronic gadgets and enjoyed fixing things. He especially loved his animals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Sandra Hill and father-in-law Larry B. Martin. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lisa Martin Hill; son Robert Samuel “Bobby” Hill; sister Beth Hooper (David); and mother-in-law Mildred Carter Martin. Memorials may be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320. Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.Obituary
