Daniel Charles "Clayboy" Kessay

<p>Daniel Charles Clayton &ldquo;Clayboy&rdquo; Kessay, went to be with Lord surrounded by loved ones, peacefully on February 01, 2021 in Rocky Point, Mexico.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Daniel was born on August 18, 1972 to Audrey Kessay. &ldquo;Clayboy&rdquo; grew up in Whiteriver, Arizona. Played football and baseball at East Fork Lutheran High School, graduating in 1991. After High School Clay enlisted in the U. S. Marines. He attended Mechanical School in Phoenix, AZ. In addition to being an amazing mechanic, Clayboy loved being outdoors in the mountains, playing baseball, working on his trucks as well as being with his family. During the last almost 11 years of his life, Clayboy blossomed in Rocky Point. There he was known as &ldquo;Apache.&rdquo; He was not only known for his skills at playing horseshoes and cornhole but also teaching those around him to play. There Clayboy became friends with people from all over the US and Mexico. Just as he touched so many lives here in the White Mountains &ndash; his mark on Rocky Point will live on for years to come. Clayboy will be sincerely missed by his loved ones and friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his mother, Audrey Kessay; sister, Theodora &ldquo;Eggo&rdquo; Smith; brother-in-law, Greg Smith; brother, Frank &ldquo;Quinten&rdquo; Banashely Jr.; fianc&eacute;, Stephanie Wilkerson; his children, Ju-Bear, Nikkie, Autumn, Danielle, AJ, Carlos and Manny. Nieces, nephews &amp; their families include: Daniel &ldquo;Thumper&rdquo; &amp; Rhiannon Smith, children Bunny &amp; Cloud, Uriah &amp; Stephanie Smith, Children Nessie &amp; Sumi, Step-Children Anquawn, Xzavion, Amaria; Montia &amp; Khayree Aday, Daughter Rev; Carlito, Damian, Audrayna &ldquo;Baby Rae.&rdquo; Aunts &amp; uncles include: Cornelia &amp; Family, Sonnie &amp; Family, Dorean &amp; Family, Timmy &amp; Family, Joaquin &amp; Family, Norma &amp; Family, Hedy &amp; Family, Erma &amp; Family, Verda &amp; Family and Katherine &amp; Family. And all Clay&rsquo;s Rocky Point Family.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Preceded in death by father, Beldon Gabriel Beatty, Sr.; grandparents, Clinton &amp; Dora Kessay and Philip &amp; Sybil Beatty.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 1pm to 4pm at the Dream City Church in Lakeside, AZ.</p>
