Michael Kuzmich, 25, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Church in Ottawa with Rev. David Kipfer, pastor, officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Friday, at the church. Burial will follow at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Due to current State of Illinois guidelines social distancing and face covering will be required. Michael was born April 1, 1995 in Peru, to John and Amy (Tuleck) Kuzmich. He is a graduate of Illinois Valley Community College and worked as a dock worker for several years. He had a passion for gardening, cooking, football, organics and natural healings, music, movies, writing, yoga, and helping other people. Michael is survived by his parents, Amy and John of Ottawa, a grandmother, Jackie Kuzmich, of Naplate, and a brother, Kyle Kuzmich. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mike Kuzmich and maternal grandparents, Ted and Marian Tuleck. Memorials may be directed to the family.
