<p>Corynne H. Christina, aged 96, left this world peacefully on Feb. 12, 2021 with her son and daughter by her side. Corynne was born in White Bear Lake, MN at Pine Tree Apple Orchard on July 12, 1924 and married her high school sweetheart, Francis “Frank” Christina. She was an avid reader, crafter, and gifted painter. Dynamic and skilled, she brought people together with her social charms and energetic personality. Corynne had an active social life and was a natural hostess, eager to host gatherings, as she cherished every moment spent with her friends. As our beloved matriarch, she led with strength and wisdom, fire and passion, grace and love. For 96 years, Corynne was the driving force of her family and has left us with a legacy of love.</p> <p>Corynne is preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” Christina; and 5 siblings.</p> <p>Corynne is survived by her children: Toni Slavik (Bob); and Mark Christina (Sheri); grandchildren: Barbara Slavik-Cooke (Dave); Christina Eckert (Todd); Alan Slavik (Ashley); and Paige Spring (Greg); 8 great-grandchildren (with 1 on the way!); 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Peder’s Lutheran Church, 4600 E 42nd St, Minneapolis, MN 55406.</p> <p>Private family service Saturday, February 20 at 2:00 PM with a livestream provided by Bradshaw.
