James “Ronnie” Bruner, 79, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021.  He is preceded in death by his parents, A. J. and Thelma Bruner, brother Ken Bruner and his dearest friends, Lloyd Glasgow and Eddie Decker.

A native Louisvillian, Ronnie was a true California Dreamer at heart, having lived there for over 40 years.

Ronnie was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and taught physical education at Doss High School.

He lived life to the fullest, was an avid antique car collector and loved spending time with his family and friends.  

Left to cherish his memory are a host of cousins including his caregivers Charlie, Charlotte and Chris Ray, friends Don Richardson, Ken Waller, and Billy Horn.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.

Due to COVID restrictions, masks are to be worn at all times and social distancing is expected.
