James W. Hooker

James Hooker a factory loader and life-long resident of Illinois, died unexpectedly on February 12th. James was born on June 14th ,1987 to Etta and August Hooker in Spring Valley, IL. James is survived by his Dad; August Hooker; His brothers Matthew Hooker and David Hooker; His Sister Rebecca Hooker; His Son, Dakota Carroll; His niece, Addelle Burden and Nephew, Carter Poole. He is Preceded in death by his mother, Etta (Beck) Hooker; His grandmother, Vivian Beck; His grandfather, Virgil Beck and His Aunt, Tammy Tutko. James was a devoted son, big brother, and friend to many. James was an avid sports fan his two favorite teams where the Chicago bulls and Chicago Bears. He was often seen screaming at his favorite teams’ opponent on game days. He enjoyed playing PS4 games against his friends, brothers, and nephew. James always had the tendency to help others by encouragement or support during times of need. James will be remembered for his unique laugh, sense of humor and commitment to his family. James will be deeply missed by many. Visitation services will be held at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, 416 Edward St. Henry, IL on Thursday , February 18th from 5 pm – 7 pm. Memorials may be directed to the family. . Michael Jorden once said, “Heart is what separates the good from the great”.
