He was born in Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Mario Sanchez and the surviving Laura Perez Rivera. Mr. Sanchez Perez was employed as a general Handy-Work. Mr. Sanchez-Perez is survived by his daughter, Karla Maria Sanchez Berlanga; brothers, Mario Sanchez Perez; Mario Sanchez, Raul Sanchez, Uriel Sanchez; and sisters, Monica Sanchez and Mayva Sanchez. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16th at Clements Funeral Home in Durham. A funeral mass has been postponed due to inclement weather at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings and social distancing are required for all services. We ask that anyone experiencing cold/flu-like symptoms please stay home.
