<p> Sara Lea Helms, 61, of Bellepoint went home to have a reunion with her parents and family February 12, 2021 at her home following a long illness.</p> <p> Born January 8, 1960 she was the beloved daughter of the late Julian and Helen Maddy Helms. Sara attended school at the Avis School and was a member of Bellepoint Baptist Church. She was a compassionate and caring young lady who touched the hearts and lives of all who knew her. Sara loved church activities, singing all the stanzas of the hymns and had an exceptional mind and memory.</p> <p> Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Ken Holland and Charles Gilkeson.</p> <p> Those left to cherish her memory include three sisters, Sharon Gilkeson, Nancy Holland who was her loving caretaker and Martha Spangler and husband Ron; one brother, Dan Helms and wife Vicky and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.</p> <p> For the safety of the family and community funeral services will be private with Pastor Butch Honaker officiating.</p> <p> Family and friends will serve as pallbearers .In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy are asked to be made to the Bellepoint Baptist Church at 211 Miller Ave. Hinton, WV 25951.</p>Obituary
