Raymond W. Litten
<p> <strong> Raymond W. Litten, 72, of Sheffield Lake passed away on Monday evening, February 8, 2021 at his home following a long illness. <br /> Mr. Litten was born in Lorain on January 19, 1949, the son of the late George Monroe Litten and Corrine M. (Stang) Litten Ribic. <br /> He served in the U.S. Marines attaining the rank of Corporeal, earning a Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Services Medal, Vietnam Service medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal in the Vietnam War. <br /> He worked as a Owner/operator of See-Thru Window Cleaning beginning in 1985 until recently. He also owned and operated Uncle Ray's trains in Sheffield Lake since 2006. <br /> He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, <br /> Ray is survived by his wife of 49 years, Candace S. (nee Fisher) Litten of Lorain, a daughter, Rachel M.(Frank) Arkel of Conway, SC; son, George A. (Melissa) Litten of Key West, FL, grandchildren Lacy Arkel, Ashton Arkel, Elliott Arkel, two sisters Cathy Ribic of Phoenix, AZ; Diane (Robert) Martin of Camp Verde, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.<br /> In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father Daniel Anthony Ribic, brothers Ronald, Robert and Richard Litten and an infant sister.<br /> Funeral services were private but a public graveside will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain with full military honors.<br /> The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.<br /> Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals assisted the family with arrangements.</strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:20px;">PLEASE NOTE: LOCATION OF SERVICES HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE FUNERAL HOME AT 11:00 AM.
