Edward Glen Bentley, age 85 of Hindman, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on August 2, 1935 in Mallie, Kentucky to the late Edward Ellis & Dolly Short Bentley. He was the Husband of Glenda Lee Bentley. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran; Along with his wife he is survived by his Children- Harold Dean Bentley, Timothy Glen Bentley, Greg Sparkman, Ella Fay (Casper) Sexton, Shelia (Ron) Phillips, Shelly (Kiel) Wright; Brothers- Devoist (The late Martha) Bentley, Dewey (Karen) Bentley; 15 Grandchildren & 9 Grandchildren; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents- Edward Ellis & Dolly Short Bentley; Mother-in-law- Florida Slone; Father-in-Law- Estill Slone; Grandson- Michael Lee Hall; He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Edward Glenn Bentley will be Sunday February 14, 2021 at 2PM, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky. Public viewing will be Saturday February 13, 2021 from 6PM-9PM with services at 7PM at the funeral home chapel. With Ronnie Robinson, Paul Watson, Daniel Jacobs, Kelly Slone Officiating.
