Gary Lester Love
Gary Love passed away on Monday, February 8th, 2021 at the age of 64 in Cortland, Ohio. He was born in Washington D.C. on January 5th, 1957, the son of Howard and Dorothy Love. He spent his early childhood in Okinawa, Japan, which he remembered fondly. The family later moved to Warren, Ohio. He was a graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School in 1975. Afterwards, he worked as an auto-body mechanic and spent nearly the last 30 years as a truck driver, traveling all over the country while accumulating millions of miles. He loved his family, especially his three granddaughters, muscle cars, being outdoors, telling stories, and making people laugh. Gary is survived by his granddaughters, Aleena, Cecelia, and Teagan; his sons, Russell (Allie) and Richard (Heidi); his sisters, Carole and Joan; and his brothers, Jim and Howard. In lieu of flowers or cards, a donation may be made in memory of Gary to the American Red Cross. Gary was an avid blood donor. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
