I remember the day 22 years ago when  I made the trip to Ohio with my two children to  see a litter of puppies.  I watched the babies roam around the room, but none of them made their way over to me.    After a while, I was thinking about heading home, empty handed.  Suddenly, this little bundle of fur crawls into my lap and starts  kissing my hand.  I fell in love at that very moment and MiMi came home  with me.  We were a team.  MiMi ate whatever I was eating most of the time, lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, a saucer of coffee, cottage cheese, ice cream.   MiMi went to work with me everyday at the park.  She was my lunch date everyday.   She would lay on my lap and greet the customers when they entered the office.  She was a celebrity in her own rite.   Everyone wanted to hold her, especially the children!  She was my rock when kids left to go out on their own and when my parents passed.  She would cuddle with me for days when I was sick and I would rock her for hours when she wasn’t feeling well.  She listened when I talked or cried, never leaving my side. I took MiMi to Georgia to visit a friend.  She fit in my tote and looked like a stuffed animal. On the trip down and back home, no one realized that MiMi was on the flight.   She never made a sound.   MiMi is my best four legged friend.   She will be missed by many but most of all by me.  I won the lottery the day I brought MiMi home with me.   I love you MiMi.   You will alway be in my heart.  See you on the other side of the ‘Rainbow Bridge’.
