Charles Victor Eschete

Charles V. Eschete, born on August 6, 1929, a native of Houma and a resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the age of 91. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux at 11:00 am. Burial will follow on the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Badeaux Eschete; children, Tommy Eschete and wife Sheri, Rachelle Jozwiak and husband Gary, Chris Eschete and wife Theresa, Brian Eschete and wife Jackie, and son-in-law, Donald Allen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lacey Percle, Drew Eschete, Anthony Eschete, Marlise Borelly, Kristen Wolford, Jessica Wolford, Meagan Eschete, and Patrick Eschete; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne Eschete Allen; grandson, Travis Allen; parents, Van and Noemi Babin Eschete; and siblings, Lois Eschete Hill and Byron Eschete. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Online condolences can be given at www.thibodauxfuneralhome.com. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
