Donald Robert Riggs, 72, of Dover passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his home. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, grandpa and great grandpa and friend.

Donald was in the Army for 20 years and served in the Vietnam War during his service. During his time in the Army, he was a Crane Operator.  But in his down time he was a avid classic car lover and mechanic. He loved to fish, he loved pool and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Riggs and parents, Amos and Mamie Riggs.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Robert Allen Jones and fiancée Kathy Quinlivan; grandchildren, Cynthia Mozingo, Ashley Sutton, Billy Joe Griffin, Jr., Mason Griffin, Nathan Griffin; great granddaughter, Olivia Brooke Sutton; sister, Linda Mason; nephews, Robert Mason, Joshua Mason and John Mason; nieces, Nicole Griffin, Clarissa Mason, Carolyn Heath and Misty Mason.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
