Charles E. "Chuck" Eccleston Obituary

EPSOM- Mr. Charles E. “Chuck” Eccleston, 62, of Epsom, passed away suddenly at the Concord Hospital on February 9, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Born in New London, CT, Chuck was the son of the late Charles A. and Ethel B. (Milley) Eccleston.  He was raised and educated in Deerfield and resided there for most of his life.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machinist for the General Electric Co. where he worked for over 35 years.

Chuck especially enjoyed hunting with his brothers, coin collecting, and sport cards.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor Maxfield.

He is survived by two children: Charles A. Eccleston and Anne Griffith both of North Carolina; his four grandchildren, Kaleb Griffith, Kailey Eccleston, Brendin Norton and Adam Eccleston; and his siblings, Steven Eccleston and his wife Cathy of Florida, Robert Eccleston of Epsom, William Eccleston and his wife Ravonne of Epsom, Diane Walsh and her husband Ronald of Chichester and Jayne Blodgett and her husband Jeffrey of Concord.

A Walk-Through Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21st from 1 to 3 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  In accordance with state and local guidelines, all attendees must wear face-coverings and adhere to social distancing as directed.  A private family burial will take place in the spring.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory may be sent to the Payson Center for Cancer Care, 250 Pleasant St. Concord, NH 03301.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
