Newark - Donald Coit, 77, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Please join the family at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 11) at East Newark Cemetery, Vienna Street, Newark, NY for Don's graveside service.

Donald was born the son of the late Arthur R. and Dorthy E. (Lawrence) Coit on Thursday, October 14, 1943 in Rochester, NY. Don enjoyed fishing and watching WWE wrestling. He loved listening to religious music, his favorite song was "The Old Rugged Cross". He enjoyed spaghetti, meatball subs and ice cream. Don always had a big smile for the staff and peers. He was very personable, and had a great sense of humor.

Donald will be remembered by his brother, Jason Coit; sister, Trudy (Roy) Saxman; nephews Robert (Melinda) Wood and Ronald (Nicole) Wood; his friends and family at the Finger Lakes DDSO.

Donald was predeceased by sister, Betty Wood; brother, Gilbert Coit
