Merilyn Mae LeMay    1935 ~ 2021

 

Merilyn LeMay, age 85, passed February 9, 2021 in Ashtabula.  Born August 27, 1935 to Arthur & Anna (Yates-Bell) Gaines in Geneva.  Merilyn married Charles LeMay July 8, 1972 in St. Albans, Vermont.  She lived in Geneva for 75 years and moved to Saybrook 10 years ago. 

 

Merilyn was a life member of the Geneva Eagles Aerie #2243.  She enjoyed her family, bowling, casino trips and morning coffee with her friends at McDonalds.

 

Survivors:  Children:  Patricia Rose; Harry (Dee) Spore; Michael Spore; Laurie (Dave) Johnson and Julie (Tim) Farr;  5 Grandchildren:  James & Jeffrey Rose; Harry & Garry Spore; David Fischer;  10 Great Grandchildren. 

 

Preceded by:  Husband:  Charles J. LeMay  Siblings:  Verna Spellman; Harry Gaines; Marian Volpone; and her twin brother Merle Gaines. 

 

Visitation:  5:00-7:00 PM Friday, 02/12/2021; Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva

 

Funeral service:  10:30 AM Saturday, 02/13/2021 at the Funeral Home

 

Interment:  Evergreen Cemetery
