Diane C. Bremer

Diane C. Bremer, 67, of Olyphant, died Monday, Feb. 1, at Regional Hospital of Scranton after being stricken ill at her home. She was the wife of Thomas Bremer Jr. The couple was married June 14, 1986. Born Sept. 27, 1953, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of Margaret (Volz) Seider of Lantana, Fla., and the late Anthony Seider. Diane was employed for 45 years by National Book Company in the credit department. She retired in December of 2020. Diane was a member of Holy Cross Parish in Olyphant, where she taught CCD and participated in many parish events. Diane was a life member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 665 and a life member of VFW Post 7251 and the DAV Auxiliary, Chapter 11. Diane was a Republican committee woman, and a social member of the Italian-American Club in Olyphant. She was an avid pistol and rifle enthusiast, and a life member of the NRA. Diane will be dearly missed by her family. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are her son, Timothy J. Bremer and companion, Samantha, of Olyphant; her brother, Gregory A. Seider, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; stepchildren, Thomas Bremer III and wife, Ann, of Dallas, Texas; and Kelly Ann Hoffman, of Texas; nieces, Samantha and Isabele Seider; and grandchildren, Joseph, Hannah and Gianna Bremer. A Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church of Holy Cross Parish 200 Delaware Ave., Olyphant, Pa. A visitation will be held privately in the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home of Scranton. Entombment will be conducted in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Twp., Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Parish, 200 Delaware Ave., Olyphant, PA 18447
