William Parker

<p>William O&rsquo;Neal &ldquo;Butch&rdquo; Parker, son of the later Nathaniel and Doretha Parker, was born February 19, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan. He was known for his adventurous spirit and infectious smile. He was named &ldquo;Smiley&rdquo; by his uncle Oscar. At age 14 he was baptized at the Mr. Olive SOA Church in Hemingway, SC. As a youth he loved to watch and play sports. It was during that time he fell in love with the Minnesota Vikings.</p> <p>He worked various jobs until he found a home at Coastal Asphalt as a roller operator. He attended Jamestown Elementary, Conway Jr High and graduated from Conway High in 1979.</p> <p>He departed this life on February 9, 2021 in Conway, SC.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his mother and father Doretha and Nathaniel Parker, followed by his two sisters Janelle and Janie Parker.</p> <p>He leaves behind his loving wife Earlean Wilder Parker. Six children: Niya McCray, Tameisha Spain, Shacarla Spain, Malaisha Lesane, Carl Spain and J&rsquo;maun Strobert all of Conway, SC; three siblings: Rackel Dawkings, Bradford Parker, both of Conway, SC and Dewayne (Carol) Gore of Waldorf, Maryland, One aunt Elizabeth Gore of Detroit, Michigan; one uncle: George Parker of Conway, SC; two sisters-in-law: three brother-in-law: one best friend, Hubert Hunter Jr. and a host of friends and sorrowing relatives.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&ldquo;My heart hurts that I will never see you again.&nbsp; I can&rsquo;t question the man above because this was his plan.&nbsp; You ask me to forgive you and yes I forgave.&nbsp; I&rsquo;m so thankful we talked and had closure before you drifted away.&nbsp; We loved each other regardless of what we went through.&nbsp; May your soul rest in peace, Butch I will forever love you.&rdquo;</p> <p>Love, your wife.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>William Parker of the Bucksport community passed on February 9, 2021.&nbsp; A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Owens Cemetery in the Bucksport Community. William O’Neal “Butch” Parker, son of the later Nathaniel and Doretha Parker, was born February 19, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan. He was known for his adventurous spirit and infectious smile. William Parker of the Bucksport community passed on February 9, 2021.  A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Owens Cemetery in the Bucksport Community. Ocean View Funeral Home, Conway chapel will be assisting this family with this service.
