Alton Joseph Esteves Jr., age 95, of Picayune, MS who passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of New Orleans, LA, he retired from American Standard in New Orleans, LA. He worked for the Tenneco Refinery until he was ready to retire. Alton was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served in WWII. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, uncle, cousin, loved one and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Mehojevich Esteves, parents, Alton Joseph Esteves Sr. and Marguerite C Spaulding Esteves; sister, Dorothy Frey. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Elizabeth (Eugene) Rigaud, Cheryl (Richard) Landry, and Deborah (Daryl) Horn; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.
