Bonnie Marie Newton, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, February 1, 2021. She was born in Blanchester, Ohio on May 8, 1933 to Grace and David Dunn. She was raised in Ohio and married on June 21,1949 to Roland F. Newton. She got to travel some of the world while supporting her husband in his career in the US Army. In their journeys she achieved a career for herself as a retail cashier. She retired at the Fort Knox Post Exchange on June 1990. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Roland, all of her siblings, great grandson Eli Lee Samborski and granddaughter Shaterria Marie Spencer. She is survived by her four children; Deborah Meach (Thomas), Olympia, Washington, Gary Newton (Law), San Antonio, Texas, Pamela Lonnquist (Bill), Etters, Pennsylvania, Sharon Haskins, (James), Radcliff, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. We miss her kindness, humor and smile. We’ll love her always and forever. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Monday, February 15th at North Hardin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dan Paddack will officiate. Because of Covid-19, precautions like wearing a mask and social distancing will be required.
