Saugus-Mrs. Helen A. (Adam) Holt, age 89, died on Monday night at the Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Richard O. Holt. Born in Everett and raised in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Jane (Ritchie) Adam. Mrs. Holt was a Past Worthy Advisor, Mother Advisor of the Saugus Rainbow I.O.R.G. and past Grand Deputy for the state. She was previously a volunteer at Union Hospital in Lynn. She is survived by two children; Bonnie Muise and her husband Chris of Topsfield, Stewart Holt and his wife Nancy of Newbury, daughter in law; Jane Holt of Georgetown, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Holt was the sister of Agnes McQuarrie of Peabody and the late Jane Barnes. She was predeceased by her son Bruce Holt.
