<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Jean Barry</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>1946-2021</strong></p> <p>On February 3, 2021, Jean Barry of Athabasca passed away at the Boyle Healthcare Centre at the age of 75, following a long and courageous challenge with Multiple Myeloma.</p> <p>Jean was a vibrant and energetic woman and will live in our hearts forever.</p> <p>She is cherished and survived by Leonard, her loving husband of 53 years; son Dion (Jennifer) of Westlock and daughter Janeen (Dwayne) Pente of Athabasca; grandchildren Joshua Collins, Abigail (Chris), Maggie and Sarah Barry, Samantha and Taylor Pente; great-grandson Tyson Pente; siblings Edwin (Pat) Brown, Philip (Betty) Brown, Mavis Jacobs and Shirley (Gary) A&rsquo;Hearn; brother-in-law Don (Diane) Barry, sisters-in-law Corinne (Jerry) Dotchak and Janet (Jake) Jancikic; many extended family members, lifelong friends, and all those whose lives she touched.</p> <p>A celebration of life will be held in the summer.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Athabasca Entertainment Society.</p> <p>Our thanks go to Dr. Ogunnupe and staff at the Barrhead Community Cancer Centre, Athabasca Healthcare Centre, Wildrose Villa Lodge, and Boyle Healthcare Centre.</p>

On February 3, 2021, Jean Barry of Athabasca passed away at the Boyle Healthcare Centre at the age of 75, following a long and courageous challenge with Multiple Myeloma.
