Marilyn G. Hinton

Marilyn G. Hinton (nee Guild), 71, of Vermilion, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She was born July 7, 1949 in Amherst and had been a long time Northern Ohio resident. Marilyn graduated from Marion L Steele High School in 1967 and Bowling Green State University 1970 with a degree in Elementary Education. Marilyn worked as an Elementary Educator for many years in Florida and in Amherst. She also worked as an interior decorator for J C Penney in Elyria. She is survived by her husband, Jim Hinton of Vermilion; daughter, Tara H. Parsons of Vermilion; grandsons, Tyler, James, and Cliff Parsons all from Vermilion; and her sister, Sharon Guild-Stitt of San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Josephine (nee Mucha) Guild. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and giver. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
