Keithville, LA - Gloria "Sue" Fontenot was born to Rupert and Annie Ebarb on February 20, 1945 in Many, Louisiana. Sue enjoyed many things, but her family was her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She always put others ahead of herself even until the end. Sue passed away on September 22 at home surrounded by her close family. Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Amile Fontenot and 2 sisters, Carolyn Ebarb and Janie Israel. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amilea and Carl Tackett; her hearts, Cameron and Kyle Tackett; siblings, Patsy Roan of Greenwood, LA, Syble Glasser and husband Gus of Pottstown, PA, Howard Ebarb of Keithville, LA, Linnie Martinez and husband Lester of Keithville, LA, and Ruban Ebarb and wife Lynn of Keithville, LA; her adored nieces and nephews, Gary Roan, Angelia Hicks, Denise Shaw, Kelly Ebarb, Tim Ebarb, Sheree Procell, Frendy Glasser, Gus Glasser, III, Howard Ebarb, Jr, Ryan Ebarb, Adam Ebarb, Amanda Martinez, and Lamar Martinez; her special hearts, Shelby Ebarb, Maddie Ebarb, and Morgan Ebarb; and her God-children, Frendy Glasser, Sheree Lou Procell, and Joshua Ebarb. Sue will be greatly missed but never forgotten. The family would like to give a special thanks to Community Hospice Care for a job well done. A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, September 24, at 11:00am at St. Mary of the Pines with urn interment to follow at the Ebarb Cemetery.
