Orlace Jerald Keetch

Orlace Jerald Keetch passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born on February 17, 1933 in Lewisville, Texas; he spent most of his life in Grand Prairie and the last 20 years in Cedar Hill, TX. Jerald (O.J.) spent 2 years in the Navy after which he went to work for Vought (LTV) where he spent 43 years as an aircraft mechanic. All who knew him will remember him as the man that could fix anything. He had lots of hobbies during his long life - skeet shooting, radio-controlled airplanes, scuba diving and being a Ham radio operator to name a few; his favorites, though, were the ones that involved cars, motorcycles, or anything fast. Retirement gave him the time to pursue his true passion of being a Grandfather, his title as Big Daddy was his true calling. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life. Jerald was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years LouAnn Cavender Keetch. Survivors include, brother Gary Keetch and wife Sandra, sister Sharon Akers and husband David, and three children, Mark Keetch and wife Linda, Becky Boeker and husband Mike, and Wes Keetch and wife Jennifer, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grands along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. A private graveside service will be held at the National Cemetery.

Grew up down the street from this wonderful man. Spent alot of time running with his kinds, going to dirt bike races and hanging out. He treated me like one of his own. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mark, Becky, Wes and families.
